War

The Battle for Volksgrad was a sixteen month battle for an important industrial city, with a strategic location. Rebel forces stormed the city on July 7th, 2075, quickly overwhelming the city's National Guard in a matter of hours. Taking weapons from the city's police headquarters, the battle for Volksgrad was characterized by a series of tactical mistakes by the government forces, which eventually led to the Rebel-takeover, and intense, building-to-building CQC. Government forces were instructed to clear the city block by block, allowing the rebels to take strategic movements and eventually outmaneuver government troops. This was the start of the infamous rebel "Jakk's Offensive".
